FluFighters™
In this cooperative game, players take on the roles of the various organizations involved in an outbreak while they race to discover the cause of the outbreak. The game features an expansive, realistic narrative that will teach players how to assess escalating situations with incomplete information, manage their limited resources, and act under time pressure.
Dutch, English, and Austrian versions of FluFighters™ are already available, with more localized versions for other countries being developed. Read more.

Play Your Part: Vaccine Ecosystem
This stakeholder engagement game was developed to showcase the complexities of the vaccine ecosystem. While the many different stakeholders involved in the vaccine ecosystem (governmental organizations, media, civic societies, manufacturers etc.) all have their own goals, their shared goal is to keep the ecosystem healthy and viable.
This game showcases the differences between the stakeholders involved, the impact of individual stakeholder actions on the ecosystem, and the complexity and necessity of working together to guarantee the ecosystem’s health.
The game was played at the annual European Health Forum in Gastein 2019 and at EHMA 2022.

Step into my Shoes: Pharma Ecosystem
This stakeholder engagement game was developed to showcase the complexities of the pharmaceutical ecosystem. While the many different stakeholders involved in the pharmaceutics (governmental organizations, media, civic societies, manufacturers etc.) all have their own goals, their shared goal is to keep the ecosystem healthy and viable.
This game showcases the differences between the stakeholders involved, the impact of individual stakeholder actions on the ecosystem, and the complexity and necessity of working together to guarantee the ecosystem’s health.

How do you recognize an outbreak of Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms (MDRO)?
Typically, such outbreaks are detected rather late. Our game <RESISTANCE!> gathers healthcare staff around the table and triggers discussions on how to recognize MDRO Outbreaks, identify transmission routes and reporting requirements.

SO-HRMO!
How do you detect an unusual number of BRMO infections, and what role does the resistance mechanism play? What measures are taken at both the patient and institutional levels? And how do you discuss the different roles within the outbreak team?
SO-BRMO is a scenario game that can be played with geriatric specialists (SO) and members of the infection prevention committee. It is a tool for reflecting as a team on the specific challenges that scenarios with BRMO entail. Explore relevant challenges and perspectives together!

URGE
Interdisciplinary work comes with specific challenges, even more so when you must respond to a crisis.
We designed URGE to force specialists out of their professional silos and team up to address the greatest challenge of their careers. The team must race against time to create a coherent image of the threat their world faces and develop scenarios to protect the population. For this, they must come out of their comfort zone and start making decisions as a team.
The Netherlands School of Public Health commissioned Pandemos to develop this game for their Public Health Curriculum.

High school teachers! Want to break the ice by talking about vaginal microbiota and sexually transmitted infections? Look no further: The game Happy Flora is made for you.
The game was developed in French under Creative Commons License by two friends: Jeanne Tamarelle and Léa Toulemon. Jeanne is an epidemiologist with a Ph.D. on vaginal microbiota and sexually transmitted infections in women. Léa is an economist specializing in health issues and a feminist activist.
Transmissible translated this game into Dutch and English. Pandemos distributes the game in The Netherlands and Europe.
Know your Risks!
“Know your risks” is a fun and educational game Pandemos developed for Red Cross and Red Crescent staff and volunteers. Students and community members can also play the game to learn more about epidemics and how to stop them at the community level. Players race along three different paths to be the first to reach the finish. Along the way, they must navigate five obstacles, each requiring them to answer a challenge correctly from one of five risk cards on fecal-oral, respiratory, vector-borne, viral hemorrhagic fevers or zoonotic diseases.
The challenges are based on the IFRC Epidemic Control Toolkit. They are designed to stimulate players to discuss and learn about this vital resource.

Pandemos developed ‘Outsmart Outbreaks’ for Red Cross and Red Crescent staff and volunteers. It is a strategic, cooperative card game for 3-7 players focused on epidemic control. Players work together to maintain community health using prevention and control cards, facing new challenges each turn. This educational game doubles as a learning tool, offering insights into disease control and underscoring the value of teamwork. The game concludes by scoring points based on the health of the population and the effectiveness of the strategies used. ‘Outsmart Outbreaks’ combines learning with play, making it suitable for educational purposes and entertaining game nights.

Epidemic Quartets
Pandemos developed Epidemic Quartets for IFRC, an exciting and educational card game for 3 -6 players/teams. Players must use their knowledge about epidemic prevention and control. Collect complete sets of 4 cards that belong together, with topics ranging from Dehydration to Disease Prevention.
The game encourages players to learn about epidemic prevention and control topics, and the player with the most quartets at the end of the game wins!
